Now that the year is almost half over, it is a good time to remember that PQRS needs to be reported on 50% of your Medicare patients. This program requires extra codes that provide data about the quality of care you provide. If not reported, it can lead to large penalties applied to Medicare reimbursement because it ties into other programs such as the VBM and MIPS.
