About Judy Lee
Judy, has over 25 years of successful health care billing experience and is a partner in JudyLee.INFO - Management Consulting Group. She is a past Executive Director of New Mexico's Chiropractic Association and immediate past Director of Research and Product Development of Alternative Link, developers of the ABC billing codes. Ms. Lee has testified in Washington, D.C. before the federal Health Committee Quality Assurance Board (HCQA) on billing for Chiropractic and Physical Therapy services. During her appearance on panels that included the heads of the FDA, HCFA (CMS) and Harvard Medical School's Dean of the Mind Body Institute, she addressed HIPAA billing mandates and solutions. Ms. Lee's extensive contributions to medical billing and coding are included in the National Library of Medicine and the Unified Medical Language System of the United States government. Ms. Lee is author of a chapter on "Reimbursement for Alternative Providers" that was first included in the 2002 edition of a Mosby Press graduate school textbook. Mosby has again commissioned her to contribute to the 7th edition, utilized nationwide in nursing schools for 2009. Ms. Lee is a skilled, knowledgeable personal injury, Colossus-certified business consultant, professional mediator and seminar instructor with significant national and international experience providing continuing education and consulting services to physicians, psychologists and nurses. |
