In Part 1 of our mini-series, we addressed one of the quickest and simplest ways that you as a health care provider can improve your collections in 2010 – by fixing the Assignment & Lien Process in your office.

In Part 2, we turn our attention to “nuts and bolts.”  Part 2 builds on the basic foundation concepts presented in Part 1.

The point is that providers everywhere seem to be saying the same thing – “In 2009, my collections went down 10%,” or “In 2009, my collections went down 30%.”  In some cases, we’ve heard providers reporting drops in collections rates of 40%-50%!!!
